Games on Mashable, Twitter on Widgetbox – What more could you ask for?

Mashable has a post this morning about old school games you can play on Facebook, and our Retro Arcade and Super Mario Game are figured prominently!  Very exciting.  We have had so much fun in the office playing these old games – takes me back to hanging out at the Disc Shop in DC’s old Mazza Gallerie and playing Frogger for hours.  Man, I wonder if that place still exists!  I’m not going to tell you how long ago that was.  It’s embarrassing, people.  Let’s just say I was sporting a really sweet asymmetrical do, and some seriously neon colors.  HoTTT.

Did you know you can also play these games on BeboPaul Neave, who is the original creator of most of these games in flash, is also a Widgetbox developer.  He’s got all kinds of good stuff – like Asteroids, Space Invaders, Simon and Snake on Bebo, to name a few.  He used our accelerators to get these games from Widgetbox onto Facebook and Bebo, which is very cool.  Since Bebo allows auto-play on the profile, they look especially swanky there.  Check ‘em out!

And speaking of finding games and services embedded in other services, we got this super cool visual timeline of Twitter this morning.  This widget was created by Viygo, and you can enter any Twitter feed and then see it on a timeline, which is super fun.  These guys can also track RSS feeds and Upcoming events – we hear we’ll be getting those as widgets soon too.  Play around with it and let us know what you think.
