I recently started using Disqus and, so far, really like it. I converted most all my personal blogs to the Disqus commenting system. My only complaint has been the way it renders in certain browsers. Aside from that, I think it's a major improvement over the standard WP comment system.

Disqus is a much better commenting platform. I like the way that you can hover over a person's name and see what other comments they have made.
It's so much neater than the normal wordpress comment system and makes it feel more like a community.

Disqus really helped a lot. It serves as a search engine wherein most people enjoy it's service.
Disqus is doing great and it's really a very good widget . It doesn't only improve the style of a website but make it easier for the commentors to keep track of their comments and start a conversation. Good widget from SEO point of view as well

For some reason Disqus never took off on my blog. I got zero comments before Disqus and I got zero comments after installing it. I invited people to leave comments and everything, but no one ever did. I removed Disqus. Now withh all these new killer features, I probably should have just left it. I see there are over 100 comments on this article. That's awesome. The thing I can't figure out is how you got so many people to comment in your blog. Care to share your secret?
