Widgetbox Integrates Disqus into our Blog

In addition to the new look and feel of Widgetbox’s blog, we have implemented Disqus as our blog’s comment platform. Now you are able to:

- Comment in threaded conversations
- Receive and reply to the discussion via either email or mobile
- Vote on great comments
- Access all of your comments with a single profile
- Integrate your comments and activity directly into other social platforms like FriendFeed, Twitter, etc

So go ahead and join the community and jump into the conversation!

    Disqus comments are great for SEO and improving search engine rankings. For anyone unfamiliar, here's a great video on how search engine optimization works.

  • I recently started using Disqus and, so far, really like it. I converted most all my personal blogs to the Disqus commenting system. My only complaint has been the way it renders in certain browsers. Aside from that, I think it's a major improvement over the standard WP comment system.

  • We have also integrated Disqus onto our blog and it is working pretty well as we can see. However, we saw the launch of IntenseDebate and was thinking that might be an alternative too. However, Disqus rocks.

    Really liking discus so far, its so hard to keep up to date with postings and with this it is so much easier. Anyhow ride a shoprider sovereign to keep yourself mobile.

  • yes, it's the best comment system I have ever seen too. But please moderate the comments daily because it don't block spam and you have already got spam just above this comment.

  • I'm using this Disqus Comments tool also, its really easy and customized, i loved it! Nice tools for blogger.
  • For some reason Disqus never took off on my blog. I got zero comments before Disqus and I got zero comments after installing it. I invited people to leave comments and everything, but no one ever did. I removed Disqus. Now withh all these new killer features, I probably should have just left it. I see there are over 100 comments on this article. That's awesome. The thing I can't figure out is how you got so many people to comment in your blog. Care to share your secret?
