If you’ve been watching the little ticker on the bottom of our homepage, you may have been noticing that we’ve been steadily climbing in domains, and rapidly approaching one million. Today, we’re excited to announce that Widgetbox widgets now sit on over one million domains around the Internet. We think this is pretty great.

What does this mean, exactly? Well, first off, to be clear, we count MySpace and Facebook, etc. as one domain each. So, this means Widgetbox widgets have an enormous footprint around the web, and we have a pretty darn huge network. This means millions and millions of people use our widgets every day. This means your widgets can reach more people more easily. This means fresh, relevant content matters. This means we are getting closer to our vision of a Widgetbox widget being seen every time someone goes online.

And, we think this means widgets are definitely definitely changing and improving the Internet through choice and access. We’re proud to be a part of this new world.
