Lakers cruise to victory in game 1 of the NBA finals

The Los Angeles Lakers were certainly considered the favorites heading into Game 1 of the NBA finals against the Orlando Magic, but no one truly believed it would be as lopsided a victory as the final score indicated.  A 100 – 75 loss has Magic fans shaking their heads and Laker fans as confident as ever.  The Kobe show was in full effect, dropping 40 points 8 rebounds and 8 assist on a Magic team that might just be happy to be in the Finals, and certainly didn’t come out with the determination needed to stop Kobe.

The Lakers are on a mission after being handed a humiliating Finals defeat at the heads of the Boston Celtics last year, and know they can’t let up now if they want to finish off a dangerous Magic team.

Game 2 is Sunday night, and as always the Hollywood stars will be court side at the Stables Center.  Make sure to stay up to date with all the News, blogs, and highlights of the Los Angeles Lakers with their custom team widget created using the Widgetbox Blidget Pro.  You’ll be able to follow the teams twitter updates, as well as watch new video posts and read their latest news.
