Web Widgets For Dummies
Monday, January 1, 2007 at 3:41PM
At nearly every cocktail party and presidential reception we've been to, we get asked,
"How do you build a widget?"Our answer is so clear, so compelling and so entertaining that people kept saying we should write a book. So we did!
Now, we're not saying that if you read this you'll be smarter, more beautiful, and suddenly one of the cool kids... but it happened to at least one of our proof readers.

To say that we’re excited about Widgetbox would be an understatement. At each and every turn of your website, we find content, style and attitude that simply screams “WE GET IT!”
Hallelujah! Your effort is worthy of emulation on many levels. Please keep up the great work!!

yahoo widgets are desktop widgets as far as I know.
Here in Widgetbox there are web widgets, so you can put them on your website, blog, myspace, etc… and I think the book is about web widgets.
:)
