Widgetbox chosen as a winner at WebVentures 2008
Friday, March 21, 2008 at 12:53PM We were really excited to find out that we were chosen as one of the top ten companies who presented at Dow Jones VentureWire's Web Ventures 2008 conference.
The
conference, held in Redwood City, CA, earlier this week featured two days of panel presentations and keynotes
by venture capital professionals and company executives, and breakout sessions
in which start-ups like us presented their companies. Giles did an awesome job getting the crowd excited about Widgetbox. You made us proud, Giles!
The top ten companies were chosen through a combination of audience voting through a
text-messaging service provided by Zuku; popularity of the presentations as
judged by the number of attendees in each session; and voting by the expert
panel of venture capitalists.
Thanks to all of you Widgetbox users for helping make Widgetbox so great!
