LA Lakers vs. Boston Celtics. NBA Finals Starts Thursday!

In arguably the greatest NBA season of the last decade, the Finals begin Thursday evening as the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Boston Celtics - the leagues two #1 seeds. Lakers vs. Celtics is a classic match-up, reviving old 80s rivalries and mojo (Magic, Bird, The Garden!).

But this is a new era with new superstars. Kobe Bryant leads the Lakers (and Jeff Van Gundy said today on ESPN that this the first year of their upcoming dynasty!) while the Celtics have the Big Three: Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.

So who's going to win?!

The Widgetbox office is mixed - so don't take any advice from us. Many of us (myself included) are Boston fans... others are Lakers-haters due to their Warriors allegiance... and others are LA natives and devout Kobe Bryant fans. Even as a Celtics fan though, I am going to say Lakers in 6.
