We were taking a look through our internal metrics this morning and we realized that Widgetbox widgets were seen in 214 countries yesterday.  How cool is that???  Omar – one of our rockstar developers – quickly exclaimed “That’s more countries than are at the Olympics!”  And he’s right.  There are 204 countries at the Olympics (sadly, I had to look that fact up).
What countries are those, exactly?  Well, here’s a (shhh – super secret!) chart from our internal metrics.

We’re really excited that Widgetbox’s homepage was (once again) given a PageRank of 7 by Google. PageRank is a reflection of how important Google believes a web page to be. The higher the PageRank, the more likely the page is to appear at the top of Google’s search results.
This is great news for everyone who has a widget in our Gallery! Over a third of the traffic to our Gallery and Widget Details pages come from natural search. Further, search traffic is typically very targeted and tends to install widgets …
